Houses on the route in central Skellefteå are being cleared in stages through June 2027. The worksites are mostly forest and meadow, so crews drive in from Skellefteå, Bureå, Robertsfors and Umeå. The Skellefteå to Luleå section is not funded for construction before 2032.
